Here sits Matt Gentry, reading the New York Times article about us...he is annoyed and not impressed with the black and white photo of us. Matt is terribly entertaining and did so while snapping pictures of Belinda, Mimi, Cathy, and I. His photos and our story will be in the "Current" section of the Roanoke Times, which goes out to the New River Valley, tomorrow. Look for us online or locally here in Blacksburg. We tried to look serious and somber for the pics...but that was impossible.

Please knit or crochet squares out of the nicest, softest yarn you can afford. Any Fiber content, any gauge, your choice of pattern. It's all up to you. Just a tidbit, the blankets will be on display in several very high profile museums before delivered to the families and injured.

Heads up, ya'll...Swedish Yarn Company is sending us a trunk show of Hanne Falkenberg sweaters on April 7th. We will have the sweaters for you to try on and drool over for 7 days before we send them on to another LYC so, mark your calenders!



These sweaters are timeless, flattering on all body shapes, and are knitted all in Garter stitch. Everyone needs to knit at least one in their lifetime.
