Nancy Lutz has a Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University and is currently the Economics Program Director at the National Science Foundation. But we try not to hold that against her. When she isn’t working (or knitting) she is one of the world’s biggest Star Wars geeks and she regularly goes to sci-fi conventions. But she doesn’t go in costume.
